4 ways I feel better during bad days. 😃And you will tell me yours also. 🤗

“Urggggggg!!! I can’t think of what to write, and I have to post!!”

We all have bad days. It’s inevitable. There are days that you wish you pressed the “Next” button. But unfortunately, we can’t. Our lives isn’t TOM and JERRY. So it’s not possible. 😅

We just have to live the ‘bad days’ and hope for better days ahead. But, we can also make ourselves feel better during the bad days.

I will suggest my few tips, then you suggest yours to me. 😃 you ready? Let’s go!! 🚀

I calm down from deep thoughts and work, by sitting down with a cold drink. ☘️

Most times when you have bad days, it might be as a result of mental and physical exhaustion.

In other word: Stress.

It means you are trying to think so hard and do so much at once, that you didn’t pay attention to other aspects being ignored.

So whenever you are feeling frustrated, angry with yourself, tired of life, just sit down calmly and take a drink.

It works for me, that’s why I’m recommending it to you. But if it won’t work for you, try out my other options.

2. Allow nature to heal you. Let nature whisper goodness to you. ☘️

Why don’t you just go somewhere that you have a broad and clear view of nature.

When I look at the large trees 🌲, the sky, the scent of Mother Nature, I feel calmness run through my veins. Does the same happen to you?

So when you are having a bad day, just go over to a good spot to view Mother Nature.

Allow Nature’s natural goodness to ease you of the badness in your day. (😂what did I just do there?🤣)

I’m serious. Nature will help you calm down and think calmly.

3. When you have good days, document them down. So when bad days come, remind yourself of the good days. ☘️

I document my good days and happenings, so that when bad days come, I will say to myself “This trying time will soon pass. I will return to better days. This is just a time to make myself stronger. I will overcome this period”

Surprisingly, it works! For me. But it’s something you can try.

When you work hard and get 100 customers a day, document it down. That’s definitely a good day.

But if you get only 10 customers a day, don’t cry or think you are unfortunate. Instead, take your document of good days, and say to yourself “if I can achieve these Fantastic things on this date, it means I can achieve greater ones)

This way, even if you have 10 customers in a day, it might be a bad day, but you will feel better, because you’ve seen your past achievements and it will definitely make you feel better and optimistic.

This is a business illustration, but it’s something you can try for any aspect, including Food, educational works, etc

4. Go to the planet 🌎 of music 🎶

😂I call it planet, because it is actually a planet!

Have you ever tried closing your eyes and listening to cool songs? OMG 😱🤗🤗

In fact, music can actually make your day. Just listening to cool songs can set you on the right track again.

This is something that has worked for me countless times, and it’s an option you might want to consider.

I can’t write much on this, because it is more of an experience. Just try it. Listen to a cool song on any of your bad days, and see the magic that will happen🤗

So that’s it, I hope you enjoyed it. And please tell me what you do to feel better during bad days😃

Your smile is my inspiration ❤️

  1. Vincent you always go right to the spot. These are things I love to do too. I love to look at trees, they make me feel so calm. The only thing is I would take a hot drink. The weather here in the UK is not hot enough at the moment for cold drinks!!

  2. Wonderful articles.
When I am stressed, I listen to some meditative music and melodies, read a book, write something (mostly random thoughts), dance or cook… I seem to have a lot of option to chase away my stress but the only way I will be able to do all these is when I am alone. I will stay alone as solace gives me tranquility.

I guess I couldn’t try it raw. But I gave it to someone and they made a soup out of it.

We call the soup “Efo” which means “bitter leaf soup”

  5. Loved this one! An absolute thoughtful post on your part!

If I’m having a bad day , I usually like to sit somewhere alone and self introspect. That allows me a lot to calmly come to terms with my situation and also analyse my actions. That’s the only thing that works for me🤷

  6. Great post, Vincent! We agree with you about music.. it definitely is a planet and we use it all the time in our house to set the vibe or check a negative atmosphere. There’s truly a song, track or playlist for everything.

Yeah, it’s a planet, but it’s quite unfortunate that some people haven’t been there 😅
The vibe will always overshadow the negative atmosphere.

  7. I can totally relate! These tips sound so simple but it’s actually very helpful especially #1 & #3 (for me at least). Whenever I feel extremely frustrated I tend to walk around for a bit to extract myself from the situation. It’s helpful but I guess not right now given our current situation. Writing it down is the best option as of the moment!

    1. 😃thanks for taking your precious time to read and comment.

I’m really glad you could relate with some of the tips.

Walking around can indeed calm yourself from the situation, but I guess the current pandemic is making it a little bit hard.

Writing it down would also do the trick 😅

Thanks for your lovely feedback Fen 😃

Music, reading, knitting. Walks in nature, cycle rides, close my eyes and chill (naps) and sometimes I have to as my bad days can be stressed related, but for the past 18 months are because of accidents, illness and migraines…
Thank you does hating your story!🙏💜

  9. Love how you document good days! I never thought of that. I have with a gratitude journal, but that is a tad different. It is more specific to what was good for you that day. And yes you are grateful for the good day, but why it was good, how it made you feel, and a reminder good days are possible! Thank you for sharing!!
