Can the deaf hear in their dreams? And can the blind see in their dreams?

I’ve been thinking about this question for a while. I wonder if the deaf can hear in their dreams.

Have you ever wondered why? Or do you know whether they do or not?

Like how do they communicate in their dreams?

I know we all have something called inner man. Inner eyes, nose, mouth, ears, etc

Please what do you think about this?

    1. Yeah! And sometimes I just wonder maybe they do sign languages in their dreams.

Let’s think about it. Let’s take someone that was born deaf. He/she has never heard any language/spoken word since birth.

So maybe in their dream, communication can be done through signing.

      What do you think?

      1. Thanks for asking
I was actually studying when it just popped out of my mind

I think the deaf might not be able to hear spoken words, especially if they were deaf from birth and don’t understand languages.

But they might be able to sign in their dreams. Maybe sign language is used in their dreams

        What do you think?

  1. I believe that the deaf and blind can see and hear in their dreams. Like I’m not deaf or blind but when I dream people talk to me. But am I really hearing them “speak” to me? Well, no. I’m not physically hearing them it’s just a figment of my imagination. I’m also not actually seeing people. I’m creating people on my head, and I guess…acting out what I’ve imagined. I think 100% that they can. God gave us the ability to dream, and I don’t think that that excludes the deaf and blind just because they are deaf or blind. 💛

    1. Hmm 🤔 this is sooo deep
I highly connected with this wonderful thought of yours

But another thing is, let’s take the example of someone that was born deaf. The person hasn’t heard any single language or spoken word since birth. He/she doesn’t know how speech sounds at all.

Can those people then recognize the speech in the dream? Or would they also use sign languages (that they are familiar with) to communicate in the dream?
