January 1st 2021 marked my one year anniversary for my blog.
I started my blog January 1st 2020. I remember sending the link to my WhatsApp contacts, but I wasn’t encouraged by the turnout.
The first person ever to comment on my blog is Deborah Benjamin. And I will still give her an award for that. She was the first “you can do it” that I ever had on the blog.
Then Austin Egbaroghene Osanakpa who was in my Modifying Humanity group, also checked it out. That’s why we are still good brothers till today.
I took a break last year, so that I can focus on my blog and the things that I really love. And it paid off.
My first year of my blog, these are my stats:
views – 33,091
Visitors – 14,503
Likes – 16,307
My top 20 countries where my readers are:
USA – 9,616
India – 9,407
Nigeria – 3,445
Uk – 1,734
Canada – 983
South Africa -655
United Arab Emirates – 364
Italy – 226
The picture of all the 136 countries that view my blog are below. You can see for yourself.
It took me one year to get these stats. I have readers in 136 countries because I cut off social media for 4 months and worked tirelessly on my blog.
There were good and bad times.
I had 4,768 views on February. But only had 2,000 views on October.
It’s not easy and sometimes I will get so frustrated, happy, angry, tired and depressed sometimes.
I will drag myself to post, to reply comments and to engage.
The journey is never smooth. It will never be. But what keeps one going is consistency amongst all odds.
But I want to thank you very much for being with me and always encouraging me. Thanks so so much!! And I really really appreciate you.
Thanks for creating a family like atmosphere for me. Thanks so much!
Your smile is my inspiration ❤️
