The day I finally cooked what looked like food πŸ˜Œ

Sometimes I cook, and even I wouldn’t eat it.

So there was a particular day that I finally cooked what looked like food.

It all started with that Monday morning hunger that comes like a flood.

(Have you ever experienced that Monday morning hunger? (before breakfast)

The hunger that pushes you to unlocking your best potentials in the kitchen.

I guess that was the push I needed to finally cook what looked like food.

Let’s continue …πŸ˜…

So it was around 3am when I couldn’t hold the hunger anymore. The unforeseen early morning hunger.

I got up and sat on my bed for like 5 mins…thinking about how and why I would be hungry at 3am. This pic below is the perfect description of my state πŸ˜…

But I couldn’t cook. So I was thinking of going on hunger strike.

Hunger strike is when you are hungry, but you purposely won’t feed yourself ..waiting for a perfect time to do so.

But my spirit was willing to go on hunger strike, my body wouldn’t answer 😒

So at last, I succumbed to my body, who kept advising me to cook.

β€œLet’s do this!!” I said to myself as I got up from the bed, with so much motivation that I could put my hand in a crocodile’s mouth and wouldn’t fear, or run on the Atlantic Ocean, or even swim in Sahara desert. The motivation to cook was intense!

But the motivation only lasted the journey from my room to the kitchen. Then it vanished 😒and I was left standing in total oblivion.

Then as I was standing, I saw a cockroach on the edge of the ceiling. Right ahead of the cooker 😭

The cockroach was in a position to fly 😒like it was all set for takeoff.

I just turned around to put on the main kitchen lights and go get something from the store. Immediately I came back to the kitchen, the cockroach wasn’t there again. 😭

To cut the story short, I finally went on Hunger StrikeπŸ˜‚ and waited till 8am when everyone was up and breakfast was set.

πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚oh wait..

πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚You thought I could cook what looked like food? LMAOOO!!!!🀣🀣🀣🀣

Well, until I cook and all the family loves it, then only will I accept that I’ve cooked food πŸ˜…

I even burnt cake one day πŸ˜ͺπŸ˜‚ it’s still like a movie till this day. Vincent burnt cake πŸ˜‚

Your smile is my inspiration ❀️

  2. Great story!
I made edible cookie dough a week ago and we still have it. We made a mistake and kept trying to fix it, but it’s not a good texture/consistency.
“Sometimes I cook, and even I wouldn’t eat it.” Yeah that cookie dough I made is not good.

  3. I have been getting early morning hunger pangs brain just does not function thinking to cook. I usually cook something simple but this has a knock on effect, I then have to cook breakfast for my cats too as they see me cooking and they get tummy rumbles. Have a blessed day.

I was just laughing while reading through this. I use to get hungry in the late night too but I just hold it till everyone is ready to eat. I have no choice but to do that. Thanks for sharing πŸ˜‚πŸ€£

  5. You tried Vincent πŸ₯πŸ˜Š. Cooking is art and you will continue to learn. Don’t give up. Keep trying even when you fail, you will rise back up again. Chef Vincent in the building. My request is suya and fried plantains.
