How are you doing? πŸ˜ƒ

Hello, how are you doing today? Just thought of checking up on my family members. Presently, I’m bored and I need gist. So you’ve got some gist for me? let’s talk. πŸ™

I think I have some gist for you. πŸ’

This happened many years ago.

If you know me well, you will know that I love chickens. Well, I mean the live chickens πŸ“ not the fried ones πŸ— (I love the fried ones tooπŸ˜‚)

I don’t sell them. I just like seeing them around. πŸ˜…especially when they are fighting for supremacy.

So one day, I wanted all the chickens to come out and play around. They were so big that they couldn’t even run away when anyone tried to carry them.

So when it was already evening, I tried to lure them all back into their cages. But one particular Hen just wouldn’t want to get into her cage.

She jumped her cage and then the fence. I went outside the gate to the nearby bush to look for her. I searched for like 25 mins, but I couldn’t find the Hen.

Then, I sighted a white thing from afar. I immediately knew that that’s the Hen.

I came to the spot and saw it struggling with the bush. I figured out maybe it was stuck by a branch or her wings got caught up.

I tried to pull her out, but she felt heavier than normal. I was dragging her, but I felt she had an extraordinary weight.

Then I breathed in and out and gave my best shot at pulling the Hen.

Then as I pulled the Hen, her head was inside the mouth of a Snake!

And because I bent down to pull the Hen, my face was in ground level with the snake.

For like 5 seconds, I went blank. I didn’t know what to do.

Then I ran.

I went to take some hard long tools and came back to the spot of the snake and chicken.

But the snake had released its grip on the neck of the chicken. And I could hear it crawling away amidst the dry leaves in the bush.

The Snake’s head was Yellow and green. I would never forget that.

And it was the size of a 15 years old hand. Quite big.

And after some days, they found it dead, on a small tree. It was discovered that it was attacked by a big bird, maybe the Hawk.

Maybe it was the big bird’s revenge for the Snake that killed a member of its bird family (Hen)

So that’s my gist for you.

Just something to tell you. I’ve had crazy experiences with animalsπŸ˜…

Next time, I will tell you about my experience with the Turkey πŸ¦ƒ. It’s so funny πŸ˜‚

You’ve got any gist for me?

  1. This is so interesting!πŸ‘€
I could completely visualise the scene.
And it must have taken a lot of courage to come back and attack the snake.
    Kudos to you πŸ‘

      3. Snake in its existence is enough to scare the hell out of me 😬
I have seen a water snake in green color once in my life near a lake.
That wasn’t scary coz that was far away from me. πŸ˜…
