๐so I decided to learn Spanish. I just love the language ๐
I was born into English language, so thatโs not a problem for me ๐
Then I got to school and French was a necessity. I donโt know how on earth I couldnโt get so well with French ๐๐๐Iโm still wondering and a little regretful that I should have paid more attention to French.
But then I have a favorite player who happens to be the best player in the world (you are free to argue๐).
Lionel Messi. ๐And my favorite team is Barcelona.
And now, Iโm learning Spanish ๐
Can you see the connection there? ๐
Anyways, which language do you love so much apart from your native language? ๐
If you can speak Spanish in the house, let me see your hands up!!!!!!!!!!!๐๐ผ๐๐ฝ๐๐ผ
Como estasยฟ ๐ -how are you?
Encantado ๐คช๐คช๐คช
Now, this is the funny part ๐๐
After Iโve learnt Spanish to a particular level of satisfaction, I decided to go watch the La Liga (A soccer league)
I wanted to interpret what the interviewers were saying, at least, to sharpen my language skill.
I gave up! ๐๐they were too fast for me. Their mouths were just moving like razors and I couldnโt even pick out a word that Iโve learnt from what they were saying ๐๐๐
I use the Duolingo app and one other app that I canโt remember itโs name.
You can be using some of your native languages in our conversation. So I ask โwhat does it mean?โ And you tell me! ๐ and vice versa.
That way, we are learning together.
What do you think? ๐

The language was formed after India was invaded by Arabs Turks etc. And there was mixing of languages. Before that Sanskrit was spoken

Hindi is not foreign to India. It was created in India after mixing of local languages, sankrit, and arabic.
The word Hindi is derived from Hindu. Hindu refers to a person living in Hindustan. Hindustan was the name given to India by Persians. (Because of Sindhu river).
When the foreign rulers came they referred to India and Indians by this name.

I speak French and a little bit of Spanish. I actually just started learning Arabic on Duolingo today! Duolingo is great for beginning to learn a language, but if you ever find that it’s too easy, try Clozemaster. Hi, Vincent:
My favorite language is still the Spanish of Andalusia, probably because it’s my most comfortable next to Mexican Spanish, and I love the European pronunciation. It’s also far easier to learn French (at least it was for me) after learning Spanish. Greek is likewise much easier to learn using Spanish, as the grammars are so similar.
Looking forward to sharing languages!

Woah!!!! I didnโt know Spanish is diverse. Iโm still learning spanish. But sometimes, when I see people speak it, itโs like I havenโt learnt anything at all! (They are sooooo fast!!) ๐
But thanks so much for this wonderful enlightenment. I really appreciate it.
How are you doing Shira?

Cool! Glad to inform, Vincent! ๐ Many thanks for reading and commenting on it! I really appreciate that you are here, and that you are learning Spanish!!
And I am well, thank you, Vincent. A bit tired, having trouble with my rough draft, but I am well, Thank the Random Universe. (must find the episode of Babylon 5 where Marcus finds comfort in the randomness…)
How are you, Vincent?
Safe Air Hugs if wanted,
