Drones! Which kid wouldnât want to own some sort of âmagic objectsâ that flies? Or which kid wouldnât be fascinated by the awesomeness of flying a drone?
Itâs like owning and being the pilot of a mini Helicopter (especially with the VR Goggles), just that this time, itâs hundreds of dollars instead of millions đ
Now, back to me. đ€Ș
Years back, I loved đ„°the drone so much. I was so happy and looking forward to owning a drone. Most of the dreams I had then was always related to the droneđ
But of course, if I would get my own drone, it would be out of my income. And I didnât have an income đ
Sometimes, I would want to ask for the drone, from my parents, but I felt asking something like a drone is somehow not âsensitiveâ enough. Not like they wonât give me, but Iâm a kind of person that isnât used to asking for things. I would rather use my hardwork to get what I want. (Except in extreme cases)
Now, this is the funniest part of the whole experience. đđ
I was always looking for drone giveaways on google. I kept going to various sites with the hope of winning a drone, until I discovered that there werenât any drones at all. They just needed traffics đ (most of them though) Instead I got scammedđ
As if that wasnât enough, I started messaging celebrities that I would love them to give me a drone đ
I also went on Amazon to order a drone, then prayed that I wouldnât be asked to payđđ but the payment page popped up đđ
It all ended in tears đđ€Ł

I kept trying and trying, but it wasnât the right thing to do. I needed to start doing something that would bring in income for me, so I can get what I want.
Realizing this, I stopped opting for âfree dronesâ and made sure I build up myself to get the drone. I could have gotten it now, but I want to use my income from what I love doing, my passions to get the drone. My income from writing, etc to get the drone. It would be a better experience for me.
Now, these are the lessons you should learn. đ
1. đ„You have wants. You have that thing you so much desire. But if you if can just put in extra efforts at your talents instead of looking for âshortcutsâ to getting it, you would definitely have it.

2. đ„Donât ever go on begging someone or stooping so low just because you want a gift/Favour from someone. Please. It brings down your worth. You have value. You shouldnât go around making the impression to people that you donât have value. You have. And you should be proud of it.

3. đ„Work towards building yourself, not building your money. I was trying to build up my money to buy the drone, but I discovered that if I build up myself and my passions, I would have more than enough.
âYou donât water the flowers. You water the rootâ.

I live in India.
I would be happy to share facts about the country. But it is too diverse and vast to talk about in a comment, post or even a book.
Maybe you could ask me specific questions and I could answer them?

Same! My parents said if you want something you earn it!
We would have to go around our neighborhood doing yard work. Also occasionally getting paid for helping with our fa!it buissness
