Choices: The Hidden Power You Should know. 💐💐

Written by Vincent Ehindero. All what is written in this article is meant to assist the reader in making the journey of life convenient and give an insight using proven experiences.

Choices. This is a simple, yet complex word. It looks so easy, but if made wrongly, it can cost you all.

Why do we have to make choices ourselves? ☘️

Due to our nature, we are not always satisfied 😒with what other people do for us. We always want to be the boss person and do things to our own level of satisfaction😎.

But this isn’t the main reason that we have to make choices ourselves. 🤷🏽‍♂️

The main reason is

Fulfillment. 🤔

If I may ask you, can you be fulfilled in life without making your own choices or decisions? 🤔

Can you attain the level you term ‘achievement’ while giving other people the right to make choices over you? 🤔

If your answer is NO, then you need to start making choices that will affect your life positively ✅ . You have to take up the responsibility to start making the choices that will put you a step closer to achieving your goals.

And I also want you to know this:

Don’t just make choices. Make the right choices. 💐

My Experience ☘️

The bath tub 🛁 has always been the place I tend to do my deep thinkings😅. Whenever I’m taking a bath or shower, it’s then that I take a flashback of my life and wonder why I made some choices I made earlier😅.

On one fateful day, I was having a bath and thinking as usual, but then, something happened. The normal sequence of thoughts I had didn’t occur. Something wasn’t normal. I could sense it.

I felt that something in me was yearning to spring out. I couldn’t figure it out.

Then after that little weird experience in the bath tub, I got to my room and sat down quietly. Waiting to feel the sensation again.

I took a paper and pen 🖊 and started to write down thoughts as it came to my mind. I wrote and wrote and wrote.

I looked at the sheet, and I discovered a bottomline👇🏽

I was making choices, but they weren’t the right choices🤦🏽‍♂️ and the right choices were trying to give me an hint from my inner man. That’s why I felt the sensation.

Since then, I started making not just any decision, but the decisions and choices that count.

You might have felt that feeling that you aren’t making the right choices you suppose to. That the decisions you are making presently wouldn’t count.

But did you ignore the feeling? Did you shun it? Did you say to yourself “it’s just my head playing mind games on me”?

You have to make the right choices from now on (if you weren’t before)

The hidden power of Choices that you should know💐

Choices possess an hidden power. And until you discover that power, your choices wouldn’t give the best results.

Good news is, we are going to discover the hidden power in this article, right now!😃 don’t you want to? I bet you do. 👍

The hidden power is 👇🏽

If made with a strong and dedicated mind, the results will be mountainous and overwhelming. ☘️

There are two category of people who make choices.

1. The people who make choices with a nonchalant 🙁attitude

2. The people who make choices because they believe😌 in the outcome and have a focused 🧐mind to it.

You should look at the above categories and see which one you best fit in.

Do you make choices and don’t put faith into it! Or you make choices because you feel pressurized😢 to make them?

When you make choices, there’s not a single outa of doubt and you strongly believe💪🏽 that you have the qualities to back up your choices?

I want you to know this💐

I understand that there are some choices that are so hard to make. Or probably, it’s not that you want to make those choices, it’s because of the pressures on you that force you to making those choices.

I understand.

Choices are what shaped humanity. The supreme being made a choice to create Heaven and Earth. He made a choice to create you and I in his own image.

I’m saying this to let you know that ‘choices’ have being part of existence.

Now, let’s leave that aside, let’s come back to our contemporary society.

I’m not going to deceive you that you will find simple choices in life. Even the choices we think are simple, may have future complications.

What I’m here to tell you is that, you have to have a strong and dedicated mind to making the right and profitable choices.

Mark Zuckerberg, Bill Gates, Warren Buffett, Jeff Bezos, …. they all had a strong and dedicated mind. When Mark was playing with his computer in his room, it was a choice, but because of his strong and dedicated mind, that choice turned to the biggest social media platform (Facebook)

You opening this blog is a choice, like the Facebook, your blog can impact millions of lives. But it’s only with a strong and dedicated mind.

Marriage, relationships, Education, family, friends, they all influence our choice making. But it’s up to you to decide if they influence positively or negatively.

The hidden power will always be a strong and dedicated mind. When you make choices, have a strong and dedicated mind to back it up.

You can read this article and ignore, it’s a choice.

You can read this article and learn deeply from it. It’s another choice.

I hope you make the choices that will impact your life and the lives of others in the world 🌎🙏

  1. Everything in our lives is a reflection of our choices isn’t it? ❣️💚💐 what beautiful thoughts Vincent. And I love where you do your best thinking 💭. I’m sure we’d all be similar in our best “spots”. I’ve taken full responsibility for all of my choices. Those I made out of fear and those I made out of dreams and my hopes. God granted us free will. And to be wise is all I seek in my choices. Someone once told me you have to be “young and dumb” to eventually grow into “old and wise “. I’m here to tell you that wrong choices can be made no matter the age! Repeated bad decisions have wreaked havoc at times~although I’m free to choose, I’m still accountable for the outcomes. Life’s lessons are helping me make better choices everyday. The mind is powerful! And it’s the mind that controls our brains to make those choices. Each day I get a choice. Choosing to say “I’m going to be happy today!” doesn’t mean that things are going to go perfect. But I know I can reconceptualize my situation. My story has parts. And a past. And it isn’t really the past choices that should bother me now. The past is the past. All I truly have are the THOUGHTS of my past. If I dwell on past bad choices, I give them power. But to live in the PRESENT and CHOOSE joy, kindness, and love….well, those choices help me live my better life. I embrace my story. And I love your story and those of this awesome writing family. I choose to embrace uncertainty and make the wisest choices I can. And to continue to support you and all others within our “reach”. Thank you always for sharing your heart. 💚 your words are wise and thoughtful. 💐💚👏🏻❤️💕❣️♥️🤗

    1. Wow! 😃 You just explained your thoughts in full details and I’m very pleased.

Like you said, if we made bad choices in the past, and we dwell on it, we give them power. We shouldn’t focus on the bad choices we’ve made. If we focus on them, we won’t grow. We won’t move forward. We would be held back.

God gave us the will to make choices. But He also told us that if we would allow him to prevail in our hearts, we would make the right choices, not the wrong ones.

Wisdom, is an important virtue that should accompany choices. The choices we make today, we think it’s for ourselves, but we sometimes forget that it will affect the future positively or negatively.

Thanks so much for sharing your honest view about choices. You’ve made me realize some vital points that will always be with me❤️🥰

  3. It seems the world is in panic over the Corona virus, as many might feel powerless, watching their world spinning out of control. But we always have the power to choose how we will respond. As a Christian,. I choose to respond with faith that God is still in control, and He loves His children. He has told us to trust Him and to love one another. It would be best for us to choose to obey Him, since fear and anger are two things that wreak havoc on our immune systems.

    1. Wow 🤩 I love this comment

You are right. Faith and prayer is all we can do during these hard times.

God had warned us of times like this but he also told us to be of good cheers, for he has overcome the world 🍀🍀💐

I love it that you go with the choice of faith in God. You have made a very great choice and you will not regret it 😊💐💐🙏

    1. Yes Nancy. God is indeed the one and only perfect decision maker. He made a great decision by creating us in his own image.
Just as Solomon asked for wisdom and he granted it, He will also grant us wisdom when we ask🙏

      Thanks Nancy for commenting
